We were thrilled to stumble upon this hidden gem during our road trip. the location was perfect, situated along the main mountain road, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. the rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a well-maintained bathroom. the service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff. the highlight was definitely the exceptional traditional kitchen, offering the best regional cuisine we have ever tasted. the hotel also provided convenient facilities such as a sauna and the option to bring pets along.
We did find the breakfast options to be somewhat limited.

During our romantic escape, we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this mountainous getaway. the location was perfect for long walks in nature, with beautiful trails just a short distance away. We also appreciated the pet-friendly feature of this accommodation. the cozy room provided us with a comfortable stay that met our expectations. Best aspects: the highlight of our stay was the delicious traditional cuisine. the dishes were expertly prepared with local ingredients, and the kitchen was truly outstanding. We also found the sauna facilities to be convenient, although we did not have the chance to use them during our visit.
The lack of shade around the outdoor seating area was a negative aspect because it was too exposed to the sun and too hot during the day. the wifi signal was weak and only available in certain areas of the building, which was a downside for us since we needed to stay connected.

Great place with amazing food. The traditional kitchen here is outstanding and definitely the best in the region. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the dishes. It was a perfect spot for our Christmas getaway, with a nice and quiet atmosphere. The location along the main mountain road was convenient for us to explore the surrounding area. We were also happy that we could bring our pets along with us, as not all hotels allow that. it was a memorable experience.
There were no major downsides to our stay, but the only thing we can mention is that the sauna was not available during our visit. It would have been nice to relax in the sauna after a long day of exploring the Carpathian mountains.
